Job summary

Socomec Sas is seeking a Sales Engineer / Account Manager for Critical Power (UPS) in the Netherlands. This fully remote role focuses on generating new business, selling power quality products and services to data centres, infrastructure and energy sectors across the Netherlands.

You will develop sales activities, build a strong pipeline, and translate customer needs into SOCOMEC solutions while collaborating with teams in France and Italy. Dutch language proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

Experience in technical sales and project-based selling within the electrical industry.
Experience with UPS, power quality, energy storage, STS, transformers, generators or switchgear.
Willingness to commute across the Netherlands for new business sales.

Responsibilities

Develop sales activities for Critical Power UPS/STS products through prospecting and customer visits.
Analyze the market by gathering customer insights to generate leads, build a pipeline, and secure new contracts.
Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers at operational and strategic levels.
Provide expert advice on technical solutions and translate customer needs into SOCOMEC solutions.
Build and manage an opportunity funnel (quotation portfolio).
Maintain and expand the customer database within targeted market segments.
Lead contract negotiations, involving management when necessary.
Ensure collaboration to achieve sales targets and customer satisfaction in the assigned region.
Monitor competitors' pricing strategies, technology developments, and marketing actions.
Work closely with the local team in Houten and international teams in France and Italy.
