Job summary

Socomec Group in the Netherlands is seeking a Field Service Engineer to lead commissioning, servicing, and troubleshooting of UPS systems and energy storage solutions. You will work on cutting‑edge power protection technology for data centers and industrial sites.

The role requires hands‑on electrical engineering experience, Dutch safety certifications (VCA, NEN 1010/3140), strong problem solving, and a willingness to travel within the Netherlands and occasional international assignments.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience in commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting of UPS or similar systems.
• Proficiency with Dutch safety certifications including VCA and familiarity with NEN 1010/3140 standards.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning of new products on-site for UPS and energy storage solutions.
• Apply installation and commissioning procedures on-site.
• Customise system settings to meet customer requirements and environments.
• Conduct thorough system testing to ensure compliance with standards and customer needs.
• Provide feedback to the TOS team and maintain documentation of service activities.
