Job summary

Socomec Group is seeking a Sales Engineer / Account Manager for Critical Power (UPS) to drive new business in the Netherlands with fully remote work. You will sell power quality products and services to data centres, infrastructure, and energy sectors, translating customer needs into SOCOMEC solutions.

You will build a robust pipeline, maintain relationships at operational and strategic levels, negotiate contracts, and coordinate with local and international teams in France and Italy to achieve

Qualifications

• Experience in technical sales and project-based selling within the electrical industry (UPS, power quality, distribution, battery management, inverters, energy storage, STS, SNMP, transformers, generators, switchgear).
• Knowledge of the data centre UPS market is a plus.
• A technical electrical engineering qualification or degree is advantageous.
• Willingness to commute across the Netherlands developing new business sales for Critical Power, UPS/STS products.

Responsibilities

• Develop sales activities for Critical Power UPS/STS products through prospecting and customer visits.
• Actively approach potential customers and analyze the market by gathering customer insights to generate leads, build a strong pipeline, and secure new contracts.
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers at both operational and strategic levels.
• Provide expert advice on technical solutions and translate customer needs into SOCOMEC solutions.
• Build and manage an opportunity funnel (quotation portfolio).
• Maintain and expand the customer database within targeted market segments.
• Lead contract negotiations, involving management when necessary.
• Ensure strong collaboration to achieve sales targets and customer satisfaction in your assigned region.
• Monitor competitors' pricing strategies, technology developments, and marketing actions.
• Work closely with the local team in Houten and international teams in France and Italy.
