Job summary

Royal Canin is seeking a Telesales Vet to manage a portfolio of veterinary practices across the Benelux from a remote setting. You will build relationships, conduct consultative sales conversations, and support partners in selecting nutritional solutions for cats and dogs.

You will collaborate with the field sales team to ensure a consistent high-quality experience. The role requires Dutch and French fluency, strong communication, independence, and a commercial mindset.

Qualifications

• A relevant commercial vocational qualification, ideally combined with veterinary care background (e.g. veterinary nurse)
• Alternatively, comparable professional experience with strong commercial and sales background
• Previous sales experience and a passion for sales and customer contact
• Fluency in Dutch and French (both mandatory)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong persuasion
• High level of independence, self-motivation, drive and flexibility
• Structured, organized and results-oriented work approach
• Confidence using CRM systems and Excel for analysis and goal setting
• Basic knowledge of clinical nutrition/pet health is an advantage, not essential

Responsibilities

• Build new relationships and develop existing partnerships with veterinary practices
• Conduct professional, commercially focused sales conversations, supported by scientific/product knowledge
• Advise and support veterinary customers by telephone, coordinating with field Sales Representatives or manager
• Identify sales opportunities and actively promote Royal Canin products and solutions
• Conduct product presentations and help increase product distribution within your portfolio
• Execute targeted telesales and promotional campaigns
• Follow up on inquiries, orders and complaints for a professional customer experience
• Document results, evaluate activities and adjust approach to meet commercial objectives
• Support field sales colleagues and contribute to team meetings and broader sales organization
