Job summary

Qdrant, a remote-first, open-source vector search platform, is hiring a Senior Software Engineer focused on Platform and Reliability. The role centers on building a scalable, cost-efficient cloud-native platform enabling rapid iteration and secure delivery of vector database solutions globally.

You will own design and operation of the platform, write production-grade Go code, manage Kubernetes at scale, and develop tooling to empower developers while ensuring reliability and observability across

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years in platform engineering or SRE roles.
• Strong proficiency in Go.
• Deep experience developing Kubernetes operators.
• Distributed systems and microservices understanding.
• Hands-on with cloud providers (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Experience with CI/CD, infra-as-code, and automation.
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and service meshes.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate our cloud-native platform architecture.
• Build and maintain Kubernetes clusters and develop custom operators.
• Write production Go code for platform services and tooling.
• Optimize cloud infra for performance, cost, and reliability.
• Improve observability via monitoring, logging, and alerting.
• Automate workflows and integrations across systems.
• Collaborate with teams to support infrastructure needs.
• Contribute to incident response and root cause analysis.
