Job summary

Tenable is seeking a Security Consultant to implement and enable Tenable’s Exposure Management solutions for clients, focusing on onboarding technologies and mitigating vulnerabilities across attack surfaces.

You will work primarily on billable client engagements, delivering tailored deployments, upgrades, and best-practice guidance, while expanding knowledge across Tenable portfolio through training and collaboration with Professional Services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in IT/cyber security and professional services.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Excellent written and verbal English; another language (Italian, Dutch or French) preferred.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to diagnose complex security issues.
• Experience with vulnerability scans, configuration audits, and security monitoring with Tenable or similar.
• Familiarity with Metasploit and related tools.
• Familiar with OWASP, secure coding practices and common web threats.
• Knowledge of ISO 17799, CIS, PCI, GLBA, HIPAA is preferred.
• Proven ability to manage client expectations and deliver consultative advice.
• Understanding of IT security across networks, OS, firewalls, cloud, IAM; experience with REST API integrations using Python.
• Knowledge of SCADA/OT is a plus.
• Industry-recognized technical certifications are a plus.
