Job summary

Software Search is recruiting a Security Consultant to lead vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security strategy design for large organizations. You will implement security measures, optimize processes, and help clients become better protected against threats.

Requirements include a technical degree, 5+ years in cybersecurity, fluency in Dutch (C1), and experience with AWS/Azure/GCP cloud security, OWASP, and SIEM/SOAR/EDR tools.

Qualifications

• Completed higher professional or university degree in a technical field.
• At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or a similar role.
• Fluent Dutch, both spoken and written (C1 level).
• Experience with pentesting, vulnerability management, and cloud security in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of frameworks such as OWASP and experience with SIEM, SOAR, and EDR solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of security standards and protocols such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and BIO.
• Strong communication skills to explain complex topics clearly and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Performing vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Designing and implementing security strategies and solutions.
• Advising on defensive and offensive security measures.
• Integrating and improving security tools such as SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and CTI platforms.
• Conducting threat analysis and developing mitigation strategies.
• Advising on compliance with standards and regulations such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and BIO.
