SuperYacht Times is searching for a senior Ruby on Rails developer to strengthen our backend team. You’ll build fast, reliable, and scalable services powering our yacht industry products.

As a Ruby on Rails Developer, you’ll work on our data pipelines with PostgreSQL and Elastic Search, integrate external APIs, and ensure performance on AWS. You’ll collaborate with a remote-first international team and contribute to exciting, high-end projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails development.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, Elastic Search, AWS, Docker and APIs.
• Excellent communication skills in English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the back-end in Ruby on Rails.
• Work on data pipelines with PostgreSQL and Elastic Search.
• Build and optimise API integrations to improve data delivery.
• Collaborate with designers and front-end developers to deliver seamless UX.
• Optimise performance and scalability on AWS for a growing user base.
