Job summary

KARL LAGERFELD Jeans is seeking a hands-on Design Lead to guide three designers across Men’s, Women’s and Denim. You will translate the brand DNA into distinctive, commercially successful collections while mentoring the team and meeting seasonal deadlines.

With 8+ years in commercial apparel design and strong skills in graphics, prints, and tech packs, you will drive concept development, ensure design execution aligns with brand identity, and collaborate with cross‑functional partners to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fashion Design or related discipline.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Experience leading design teams and managing multiple product categories.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the design team across Men’s, Women’s and Denim collections.
• Drive research into brand trends, consumer insights and market opportunities to establish seasonal concepts.
• Translate concepts, trends and insights into cohesive, innovative collections.
• Oversee development ensuring consistency of brand identity across categories.
• Drive product innovation in fits, fabrics, washes and detailing.
• Balance fashion-forward design with commercial priorities and pricing targets.
