Job summary

Sealed Air is seeking a HR Generalist to support Benelux & Sweden sites, providing first-line HR support, acting as a business partner to key stakeholders, and administering HR processes. The role includes recruitment, payroll support, and cross-department HR projects.

The position is a 12-month temporary contract, remote with travel to Nijmegen at least twice monthly, and relocation is not required. Fluency in English and Dutch is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related discipline.
• 1–2 years of work experience in a similar HR role.
• Good knowledge about local working administration and employment law.
• Dynamic, proactive approach and ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations that may involve confidential or sensitive matters.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proven ability to influence business stakeholders.
• Strong organization, prioritization, time-management, multi-tasking skills.
• Positive, upbeat and cooperative attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability and curiosity to learn about SEE Customers, Products, Processes and technology.
• Very good command of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Good command of English and Dutch (mandatory).

Responsibilities

• Be the HR point of contact for employees and their representatives.
• Provide the first level of HR support to the employees and managers.
• Be the HR Business partner with all key business stakeholders.
• Be an active member of the Site Management team contributing HR inputs to daily activities.
• Taking care of administration of employees (employment contracts, holiday/sickness)
• Supporting payroll administration processes
• Actively participate in the recruitment process
• Compiling reports and spreadsheets
• Participation in cross department HR-related projects and initiatives
• Supporting HR activities in Benelux for all Sealed Air employees
• Ensuring smoothness of local HR operations
• Ensuring intern controls
• Acting as change agent supporting local leadership
