Job summary

Client Server Ltd. is seeking a Data Engineer in The Hague to design, build and optimise cloud-native data pipelines powering next-generation AI products.

You will work across data engineering, cloud infrastructure and AI, crafting scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data warehouses. The ideal candidate has strong Python skills, experience with Airflow, SQL/NoSQL and cloud platforms, plus exposure to Docker/Kubernetes and Terraform.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Data Engineering or related field.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Experience with data pipelines (ETL/ELT) and workflow orchestrators such as Apache Airflow.
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing and database systems (SQL and NoSQL), including data modelling and schema design.
• Familiar with streaming data technologies (Kafka, Pub/Sub).
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform (GCP or AWS preferred).
• Experience with containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficient with CI/CD and have a working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Fluent English language skills.
• Must have full right to work in The Netherlands without highly skilled migrant visa.

Responsibilities

• Build the cloud-native data platform that powers AI/ML products.
• Develop and optimise ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehouses and workflows.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, MLOps and Software Engineers to deliver robust systems.
• Influence the architecture of a growing AI platform using Python, Airflow, SQL/NoSQL, Docker and Kubernetes.
