Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking an Expert Team Lead, Medicine based in the Netherlands to oversee a high‑quality medical data team. You will combine clinical expertise with leadership to ensure precise labeling, tight quality controls, and scalable processes.

The role sits at the intersection of medicine, human data, and AI development. You’ll coach AI Tutors, manage performance, and improve labeling workflows while partnering with Human Data and Engineering teams to implement model requirements and

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 months hands-on experience in data labeling, annotation, AI training or evaluation.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in medicine or a clinical discipline; MPH/MHA acceptable.
• MD/DO/MBBS or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Experience with performance management and coaching beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of AI Tutors with regular performance reviews.
• Personally review domain-specific work to maintain accuracy and guidelines.
• Collaborate with Human Data and Engineering teams to translate model requirements into labeling strategies.
• Track KPIs and drive process improvements for quality and throughput.
• Document outcomes and communicate risks and results to stakeholders.
