Rain, the world’s first AI Financial Health platform, is seeking a Tech Lead to drive architecture and delivery for a fully distributed microservices stack. You will own system design, scale critical data pipelines, and lead a cross-functional team across product, backend, and infra.

With 7+ years of experience and strong ownership mindset, you will shape scalable solutions, champion best practices, and collaborate closely with stakeholders while working in a remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• 2+ years in formal or informal leadership roles.
• Experience designing distributed microservices and scalable systems.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication.

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements into robust technical solutions and lead engineering efforts.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team and manage tech refinements and productivity.
• Design and implement reliable systems in a distributed microservices context.
• Build and maintain integrations with 3rd-party vendors and partners.
• Develop highly available RESTful APIs for internal admin portals.
• Create reusable libraries and enforce observability with logs, metrics, alerts.
• Document architecture designs, APIs, workflows, and configurations.
• Monitor Rain systems to maximize performance and scalability.
• Coordinate across teams to align priorities and requirements.
