Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in clinical payments with end-to-end understanding of site payment processes.
• Demonstrated knowledge of investigator and site payment workflows, study budgets, contractual payment terms, reconciliations, accruals, and forecasting.
• Strong financial analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving, with the ability to interpret complex data and investigate discrepancies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, financial systems, EDC platforms, CTMS, and reporting tools.
• High accuracy and organizational skills in reviewing financial information and maintaining documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication, with ability to document findings clearly.
• Customer-oriented mindset with reliable and solution-focused support to sites and teams.
• Ability to collaborate across global teams and external partners.
• Willingness to learn new systems, adapt to changes, and manage multiple priorities.
• Interest in process improvement and AI-driven tools to enhance payments.

Responsibilities

• Manage clinical site payments: process investigator and site payments following internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Review and validate financial data from budgets, EDC, and CTMS to ensure accurate payment calculations.
• Oversee invoice management: review invoices, investigate discrepancies, and respond to questions.
• Perform financial reconciliations: prepare accruals and forecasts; maintain consistency across systems.
• Develop and maintain reporting: create standardized reports for monitoring and oversight.
• Drive process and technology improvements: optimize workflows and evaluate AI automation potential.
• Manage operational and financial risks: identify risks and implement controls.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to coordinate payments and resolve complex issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation: ensure process, project, contractual, and financial records are audit-ready.
• Support continuous improvement: adapt to evolving systems and regulatory requirements with practical recommendations.
• Ensure cross-functional communication and exceptional customer service to clinical sites, investigators, and internal teams.
