Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Test Craftsperson/Automation in the Netherlands for a remote-first engineering team. You will own testing across the full software lifecycle, working with developers in a continuous deployment model.

The role combines functional testing, automation, programming, infrastructure, and collaboration with product teams and clients. You will build and evolve automation frameworks, using AI to improve test cases, mock data, and documentation while maintaining quality control.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on Automation QA experience.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with Cypress or Playwright and JavaScript as core languages.
• Experience creating test automation frameworks from scratch.
• Practical experience with BDD including Cucumber and Gherkin.
• Solid understanding of OOP and web technologies (HTML, jQuery).
• Ability to write SQL queries for data validation and troubleshoot tests on Linux.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins/Bamboo/GitHub Actions.
• Experience using AI tools to improve manual testing and generate test data.
• Hands-on with AI-powered coding assistants to develop test scripts.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end testing initiatives across the complete SDLC within a CD environment.
• Plan and execute functional and automated testing; develop test scenarios.
• Build, maintain, and improve test automation frameworks with modern tools.
• Use AI to generate test cases, explore edge cases, and accelerate documentation.
• Develop automated test scripts; troubleshoot failures and improve reliability.
• Align with stakeholders to inform product roadmaps and sprint planning.
• Collaborate with Dev and Ops in a DevOps-oriented environment.
