Ir Olav's Globetrotters B.V. seeks an AI‑driven Test Engineer to safeguard quality across digital solutions.

You will design AI‑assisted testing strategies, translate requirements into smart test cases, and set up automated tests and AI‑generated scenarios within multidisciplinary teams in the Netherlands. You will leverage AI to analyse user stories, ensure robust test coverage, and drive faster defect detection while maintaining control over outputs and decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience in Agile environments with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience with test automation using modern tools (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Robot Framework).
• Experience and affinity for AI in testing and experimentation with tooling, prompting, and automation.

You will work closely with your team, clients, and stakeholders to ensure that what is being built is not only technically sound but also delivers real value to the end user.

Human in the loop remains essential. As an AI-driven Test Engineer, you will be a driving force behind quality within your team and part of the client’s test guild. You look beyond a traditional testing approach and actively use AI to test smarter, faster, and more effectively. At the same time, you remain in control as the tester: you critically assess AI output and translate it into usable test scenarios, test data and test automation.

Responsibilities

• Designing and supporting AI-assisted test strategies
• Analysing requirements and translating them into smart testing approaches
• Setting up automated tests and AI-driven test generation
• Creating test data and scenarios for complex and critical use cases
• Identifying and implementing improvements in testing processes
• Safeguarding quality in systems with multiple integrations and dependencies
• Using AI to analyse user stories, requirements and acceptance criteria more efficiently, and to identify uncertainties and risks at an early stage, shifting your role from simply checking afterwards to thinking ahead and making better choices in your testing approach
• Test case generation and optimisation
• Faster defect detection and root cause analysis
• Testing AI and agentic systems, such as validating outputs, behaviour, and reliability of AI agents
• Smart regression testing
• Increasing test coverage with minimal manual effort

Qualifications

• Experience in Agile environments with multiple stakeholders
• Experience with test automation, e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Robot Framework, or similar tools
• Experience and affinity for working with AI – this may also be in a personal setting, such as experimenting with tooling, prompting, and automation
• Curious and actively developing your knowledge of AI within the testing field
• Strong communication skills and a strong sense of ownership
• Certifications such as ISTQB or TMAP are a plus
