Job summary

CEG is seeking a motivated Assessor to join our compliance team. You will evaluate company and worker registrations for Dutch projects using WorkpassID, ensuring tax, legal and immigration requirements are met.

The role emphasizes confidentiality, accuracy and structured training to build Dutch workforce compliance knowledge. This is a one-year fixed-term, 40-hour per week contract with a potential extension or transition to permanent roles as client demand grows.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail to spot discrepancies in documents and case records.
• Analytical problem-solving to apply rules and reach well-supported decisions.
• Digital agility to learn new tools and adapt to online workflows.
• Willingness to learn Dutch labour requirements and EU posting rules through training.
• Cross-border tax knowledge and understanding of corporate tax principles would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assess company registrations and supporting documentation for projects in the Netherlands.
• Assess worker registrations and supporting documentation, including identity, right-to-work, permits and payroll records.
• Apply relevant legal, tax and regulatory checks to assessments.
• Follow workflows to identify inconsistencies, missing evidence or fraud indicators.
• Respond to queries from workers and company contacts, providing clear support throughout the process.
• Record evidence and decisions clearly and objectively.
• Review records periodically and retain/archive assessments per data-retention rules.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information securely under GDPR.
• Escalate high-risk or complex cases for further review.
