Job summary

CEG seeks a Senior Assessor to provide technical leadership within the workforce compliance team. You will perform complex company and worker assessments for Netherlands projects, allocate work and coach Assessors in a non-managerial role, using WorkpassID as the primary system.

The role is fully remote worldwide with a preference for candidates in the EMEA region and CET hours. It is a one-year fixed-term, 40-hour week, starting as soon as possible, reporting to the Workforce Compliance Program

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and meticulous documentation are essential.
• Technical judgement to interpret legal, tax and regulatory requirements.
• Extensive experience in workforce compliance, global mobility or related fields.
• Strong cross-border knowledge including EU rules and tax implications.
• Ability to allocate work and coordinate priorities during busy periods.
• Coaching and guiding Assessors without formal people management duties.
• Clear stakeholder communication with contractors and workers.
• Willingness to learn new digital tools and adapt to new workflows.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Dutch communication.
• Independent, discreet work from home with respect for privacy and data handling.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex, high-risk company registrations and documentation reviews for Netherlands projects.
• Perform complex worker assessments including identity, right-to-work, permits and payroll records.
• Apply legal, tax and regulatory checks within delegated authority.
• Allocate tasks among Assessors and coordinate workload during busy periods.
• Coach Assessors on complex cases and translate developments into guidance and checklists.
• Identify operational risks and suggest practical improvements to procedures and frameworks.
• Liaise with contractors and internal specialists on sensitive cases.
• Maintain and securely archive assessments per data-retention rules.
