Job summary

Emerson is seeking a proactive, customer-focused sales professional for the Netherlands region. The role focuses on driving sales, bookings, and strategic targets across FLMC product lines and services.

You will work with the Benelux Sales Director to maximize opportunities, visit customers, develop growth strategies, and negotiate contracts while maintaining high product knowledge and strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or technical education required.
• Minimum 3 years sales experience in Industrial and Factory Automation.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI and Outlook.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Willing to travel in the region.
• Clean driving license.

Responsibilities

• Identify market requirements and develop growth strategies for orders and profitability.
• Direct and coordinate activities to promote sales and solutions in the area.
• Actively visit existing customers to promote the product lines and services.
• Seek new opportunities to sell to new customers and industries.
• Negotiate contracts within the delegation of authority, including discounts and terms.
• Drive sales and proposal strategies with the sales support organization.
• Maintain a project opportunity list in the CRM tools.
• Maximize face-to-face time and other communication channels with customers.
• Oversee and support execution of contractual terms in transactions.
• Drive customer satisfaction by understanding and solving needs.
• Participate in trade shows and events to promote Emerson solutions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and technologies.
