Job summary

BYD Europe in Hoofddorp is seeking a results-driven technical sales/business development professional to drive energy storage solutions across residential and small-scale C&I markets. You will develop relationships with key customers, promote the brand, and support after-sales activities.

The role requires 1-5 years' relevant experience, knowledge of residential hybrid inverters, PCS, batteries, and energy storage regulations, and the ability to travel.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years of relevant work experience.
• Major in Solar energy storage or Electrical engineering preferred.
• Understanding of residential Hybrid inverters, PCS, Batteries, and All-in-one systems.
• Basic knowledge of energy storage regulations (VPP) is a plus.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Execute sales targets and business development plans for the designated city/region in alignment with the company's overall strategy.
• Develop, manage, and maintain relationships with key customers.
• Promote brand and products through exhibitions, technical trainings, roadshows, etc.
• Support local after-sales teams in resolving product quality and after-sales issues.
• Conduct product research to provide internal feedback for new product development and future strategy planning.
• Collaborate with cross-departmental teams locally.
• Timely handle and coordinate daily customer issues and complaints.
