Job summary

Siemens Healthineers AG is seeking a Varian Field Service Engineer HW (FSE Hardware) to support the Netherlands-based territory. You will troubleshoot, repair, install, upgrade and perform preventative maintenance on designated VMS equipment, with occasional travel to neighbor countries to assist Varian's Field Service Teams.

The role emphasizes strong customer relationships, timely service delivery, and adherence to company guidelines to keep medical equipment operating reliably and safely.

Qualifications

• Medical device knowledge and aptness for electronic/mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and apply technical documentation and guidelines.
• Basic computer skills for diagnostics and reporting.
• Familiarity with imaging systems and delivery networks.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair all designated equipment, including preventative maintenance, installations and upgrades per guidelines.
• Manage time and schedule for preventive maintenance, installations, upgrades and incoming customer calls, prioritizing urgency.
• Elevate incidents when needed and seek assistance from more senior representatives.
• Examine difficult issues, diagnose and resolve to meet field service standards; maintain territory management and expense reporting.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships with effective communication.
• Understand customer care and experience management as part of the role.
