Job summary

QuantWare BV is seeking a Device Metrology Tool Development Lead to drive scalable metrology tooling for high-throughput quantum device screening. The role blends project leadership with technical execution, guiding the tool from concept through deployment and validation.

You will coordinate design, fabrication, and measurement teams, balance risks, and work closely with external partners to meet ambitious milestones in a hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• 4+ years leading projects in deep-tech or hardware domains.
• Master’s or PhD in Physics, Engineering, or related field.
• Broad R&D lifecycle knowledge from design to measure to production.
• Strong cross-functional decision-making and leadership in ambiguity.
• Clear, pragmatic communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate technical work for scalable metrology tool development.
• Balance project management with hands-on technical input.
• Guide tool lifecycle from concept to deployment and validation.
• Lead daily team activities and cross-functional collaboration.
• Identify risks and plan contingencies to meet milestones.
• Interface with external partners and collaborators.
