Job summary

QuantWare BV is hiring a Lead Automation Engineer to shape the fab automation and manufacturing systems strategy for its quantum device fabrication facility. You will drive equipment integration, MES deployment, data collection, and analytics, partnering with Process Engineering, Manufacturing, IT, and Vendors.

Lead a team of automation professionals, manage supplier relationships, and ensure traceability, production control, and robust reporting across the line.

Qualifications

• PhD/masters/engineering background with strong automation focus.
• Extensive experience in semiconductor manufacturing automation and tooling.
• Proven track record leading complex projects with vendors.

Responsibilities

• Define fab automation roadmap and data collection architecture.
• Lead equipment integration and MES implementation efforts.
• Oversee manufacturing data collection, analytics, and reporting.
• Drive SPC/FDC enhancements and process monitoring.
• Manage a team of Automation Engineers and MES specialists.
