Job summary

Qblox in Delft, Zuid-Holland, Netherlands, seeks a Quantum System Architect focused on the Quantum Control Stack. You will define interfaces across software, FPGA firmware, and RF hardware to translate quantum circuits into precise timing and pulse sequences.

The role requires 8+ years in system architecture with deep experience in real-time, high-speed mixed-signal hardware and a Master’s or PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in system architecture, with 2+ years in quantum control or RF test domains.
• Deep expertise in system architecture, data movement, interconnects, and hardware/software co-design.
• Experience designing low-latency, real-time architectures and FPGA/SoC micro-architectures.

Responsibilities

• Architecture & Performance: design end-to-end control stack from quantum compiler to DACs.
• Real-Time Latency: create ultra-low-latency paths with strict timing budgets.
• Control Scaling: drive channel scaling and signal distribution across environments.
