Qualifications

  • 8+ years of system architecture experience, with quantum or RF control exposure.
  • Deep expertise in system architecture fundamentals, data movement, interconnects, and co-design.
  • Real-time architectures with low-latency, FPGA/SoC runtimes for feedback loops.
  • High-speed mixed-signal hardware knowledge: AWGs, ADCs/DACs, PLLs, jitter, signal integrity.
  • Experience in requirements management tools and system modeling software.
  • Ability to bridge electronics, FPGA, embedded software, networking, and signal processing.

Responsibilities

  • Capture and flow down top-level system performance targets into verifiable subsystem requirements for RF/hardware, FPGA firmware, and software teams.
  • Define cross-system boundaries and co-design strategies across hardware, firmware, and software.
  • Collaborate with firmware leads, quantum physicists, and software teams to partition execution logic between classical runtimes and real-time FPGA hardware.
  • Guide validation, integration, and evolution of scalable quantum computing platforms.
