Job summary

ASML's Global Quality & Excellence team invites a bachelor’s or master’s student to join as an internship. You will investigate issues in the return process of EUV mirrors, applying data analysis, stakeholder interviews, and structured problem-solving to identify root causes and drive improvements.

This role offers hands-on experience in a high‑tech environment, with exposure to cross‑functional teams and a thesis project started in February 2027 and lasting at least five months, five days per

Qualifications

Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in industrial engineering, operations management, technical business administration, or a related field.
Familiar with structured problem‑solving methods such as Six Sigma, DMAIC, 8D, or A3.
Strong data analysis skills and the ability to translate data into insights.
Excellent collaboration and communication with stakeholders across disciplines.
Proactive with a willingness to own complex investigations.

Responsibilities

Define and structure the problem statement using established problem-solving methods.
Collect, organize, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data.
Conduct stakeholder interviews to understand processes and challenges.
Identify root causes behind recurring issues in mirror return flow.
Validate findings using data-driven techniques.
Develop practical recommendations for process improvements.
Present conclusions and proposals to stakeholders.
