Job summary

ASML, a leader in lithography, invites motivated students to join a structured root cause analysis internship within Global Quality & Excellence. You will work with quality professionals across functions to translate data into actionable improvement opportunities in the return flow of EUV mirrors.

This bachelor’s or master’s thesis internship lasts at least 5 months with a minimum 5 days per week, starting February 2027, in the Netherlands.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a relevant bachelor’s or master’s program.
• Experience with Six Sigma, DMAIC, 8D, A3 or similar methods.
• Analytical and able to translate data into clear insights.

Responsibilities

• Define and structure the problem statement using established problem-solving methodologies.
• Collect, organize, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews to understand current processes and challenges.
• Identify root causes behind recurring issues in the mirror return flow.
• Validate findings using data-driven problem-solving techniques.
• Develop practical recommendations for structural process improvements.
