Job summary

ASML’s internship within Strategic Sourcing & Procurement focuses on tail supplier management to optimize the supplier base while maintaining business value and continuity in a global high-tech environment.

You will perform data-driven analyses, benchmark practices, and develop concrete recommendations with a clear roadmap. The program runs at least 5 months, about 50% on-site in the Netherlands.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Procurement, or related field.
• Affinity for procurement, supplier management, and process optimization.
• Experience with data analysis and spreadsheet-based reporting.
• Analytical, structured, and proactive when working with complex information.
• Clear English communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyze the current supplier landscape and identify tail supplier patterns.
• Define a practical, data-driven approach to tail supplier management.
• Perform spend and supplier segmentation analyses.
• Research and benchmark industry best practices and market solutions.
• Identify opportunities to reduce supplier fragmentation and duplication.
• Present recommendations, findings, and a roadmap with measurable improvement opportunities.
