Tacx (International) BV is seeking a hands-on Quality Engineer to elevate our quality management across design, supplier quality, and NPI. You will champion APQP/PPAP, lead supplier initiatives, and ensure robust calibration and traceability under ISO 9001.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline and some years of experience within a Manufacturing or Supply Chain environment.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 (preferred).
• Proficiency in quality engineering tools such as APQP, FMEA, and Gage studies.
• Experience with DMAIC, PDCA, 5 Whys, and RCA.
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset; risk-based thinking.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Engineering to execute APQP and PPAP activities, FMEA, capability, and gage studies across the product lifecycle.
• Lead development of supplier quality initiatives ensuring incoming materials meet specs and performance standards.
• Manage production quality processes including NCR, MRB, and material traceability.
• Collaborate with QC team to ensure operational alignment and high-quality outputs.
• Validate that every feature is functional, reliable, and meets end-user needs.
• Support ISO 9001-certified QMS with data-driven actions from Management Review.
• Lead internal audits to maintain QMS compliance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Represent Quality in ECO processes to ensure product integrity and lead Document Control.
• Lead calibration program, maintaining test and inspection equipment for reliability.
• Perform statistical and quality trend analysis to support operations and engineering.
• Serve as expert in RCA and CAPA.
