Job summary

Aquablu is seeking a hands-on Supplier Quality professional to own the quality of our supplier base from qualification through production. You will lead CTQ sessions, assess Cp/Cpk data, and drive improvements with a pragmatic, risk-weighted approach.

This role requires thorough documentation and coordination across R&D and suppliers, with on-site work in Amsterdam. You’ll manage audits, scorecards, and corrective actions, ensuring robust supplier performance tracking and a single quality voice

Qualifications

• Hands-on APQP and PPAP experience in manufacturing or product development.
• Experience with ongoing supplier quality management: audits, scorecards, and supplier corrective action.
• Ability to read and assess technical drawings, tolerances, and CTQ characteristics.
• Working command of process capability (Cp/Cpk) and statistical quality methods.
• Documentation discipline and ability to maintain structured quality records.

Responsibilities

• Qualify new suppliers and run CTQ definition sessions with suppliers and R&D.
• Judge supplier capability; build plan B when data is missing.
• Close out approvals: master sample, and quality agreements covering cost, IP, and quality.
• Audit ongoing supplier performance and verify qualification controls are in use.
• Track supplier performance with scorecards and drive improvement conversations.
• Own supplier-side containment, root cause, corrective action, and verification.
• Be the single quality voice across qualification and production for suppliers.
