Job summary

g2 Recruitment is assisting on a client project delivering roofing and cladding for a major data center in Europe. We seek an experienced QA/QC Engineer on a freelance basis, initially in Austria and then the Netherlands. The role covers QA/QC for civils/roofing, ITPs, inspections, NCR closure, and documentation control.

Requirements include solid QA/QC experience, sub-contractor coordination, and preferably data center civils exposure. EU passport is mandatory.

• Data center project exposure preferred; strong groundworks/civils background.

Job description

We're working on behalf of a client delivering roofing and cladding for large-scale data center construction project in Europe, who is looking for an experienced QA/QC Engineer to join the team on a freelance basis in Austria and then the Netherlands.

The role: QA/QC Engineer

• Conduct QA/QC process for the civils/roofing package, ensuring works are delivered to spec and project quality standards
• Develop and implement ITPs, carry out site inspections, and manage NCRs through to close-out
• Coordinate roofing/material testing and maintain as-built quality records and documentation
• Act as the technical link between the field team, document control, and the client on all quality matters
• Location: Austria (until Jan) - Netherlands (from Jan)
• Contract: Freelance
• Duration: 15 months initially, possible extension for another year
• Start: 12/10/2026
• Hours: 10 hours/day, Monday to Friday
