Job summary

Access Talent Group is seeking an experienced CSA QA/QC Manager to join a leading General Contractor delivering major data centre projects across Europe. The initial project is in the Netherlands, with potential to expand across Europe.

You will own QA/QC across civil/CSA works, focusing on reinforced concrete and underground utilities. Lead inspections, manage ITPs and NCRs, coordinate with clients and subcontractors, and support commissioning and handover.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced CSA QA/QC Manager to join a leading General Contractor delivering major data centre projects across Europe.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for Quality Assurance and Quality Control across the civil/CSA package, with a particular focus on reinforced concrete structures, underground services and associated civil works.

This is a site-based role working closely with the construction team, subcontractors, consultants and client representatives. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will be expected to confidently liaise directly with the client and lead quality discussions, inspections and approvals.

The initial project is based in the Netherlands, with the opportunity to move onto further major data centre projects across Europe following successful completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage QA/QC activities across the civil and CSA package.
• Develop, implement and maintain project-specific Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and Quality Plans.
• Manage quality inspections, testing, documentation and approvals throughout construction.
• Provide QA/QC oversight of reinforced concrete, foundations, structural concrete and associated civil works.
• Oversee QA/QC for underground utilities and services, including drainage, ducting, chambers, external networks and below-ground infrastructure.
• Review construction methodologies, inspection records, material approvals and technical documentation.
• Coordinate inspections with the client, consultants, engineers and subcontractors.
• Manage NCRs, observations, corrective actions and close-out activities.
• Ensure works are completed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, standards and project requirements.
• Monitor subcontractor quality performance and ensure compliance with project quality procedures.
• Maintain accurate QA/QC records and ensure complete handover documentation.
• Attend and lead quality meetings with the client and project stakeholders.
• Work closely with the Construction, Engineering and Project Management teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Support the project through commissioning, snagging and final handover.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a QA/QC Manager, CSA QA/QC Manager, Civil QA/QC Manager or similar within large-scale construction projects.
• Strong experience working on data centre, industrial, mission-critical or similarly complex construction projects.
• Excellent knowledge of concrete construction, including foundations, reinforced concrete, slabs, structures and associated testing/inspection.
• Strong experience with underground services and civil infrastructure, including drainage, utilities, ducting and below-ground networks.
• Experience managing QA/QC activities for a main contractor/general contractor.
• Strong understanding of ITPs, QA plans, NCRs, inspections, testing and quality documentation.
• Comfortable dealing directly with clients, consultants and senior project stakeholders.
• Strong communication, leadership and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and maintain high quality standards in a fast-paced site environment.
• Experience working on international projects is highly desirable.
