Job summary

G2 Recruitment is seeking a seasoned QHSE Manager to lead Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental activities at a major FMCG facility near Amsterdam. You will own QMS, drive continuous improvement, and ensure regulatory compliance across operations and maintenance teams.

Ideal candidates will have a strong background in QHSE with relevant certifications, hands-on experience in process industries, and excellent stakeholder communication. Dutch language skills are beneficial but not essential.

Qualifications

• Background in QHSE with relevant qualifications and certifications.
• Experience in manufacturing or process industries (FMCG, Food & Beverage, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of HSE and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Dutch language skills are beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental activities across the site.
• Support operational and maintenance teams on QHSE best practices and compliance requirements.
• Maintain, improve and monitor HSE and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Drive behaviour-based safety programmes and promote a positive safety culture.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and international company standards.
• Conduct audits, inspections, risk assessments and incident investigations.
• Provide guidance and support to site leadership on QHSE matters.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across quality, safety and environmental performance.

G2 are currently searching for an experienced QHSE Manager to support a major international FMCG manufacturer at their operational plant near Amsterdam.

This opportunity will see you take ownership of Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental activities across a large-scale food and beverage production facility, ensuring compliance with site, corporate and regulatory requirements while driving continuous improvement across operational and maintenance teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental activities across the site
• Support operational and maintenance teams on QHSE best practices and compliance requirements
• Maintain, improve and monitor HSE and Quality Management Systems (QMS)

Requirements

• QHSE, HSEQ, HSSE or related technical background with relevant qualifications and certifications
• Background in Quality, Engineering, Production or Manufacturing environments
• Experience working within operational process industries such as Food & Beverage, FMCG, Manufacturing or Pharmaceutical plants
• Strong knowledge of HSE and Quality Management Systems
• Experience implementing and managing behaviour-based safety programmes
• EU Passport
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Dutch language skills are beneficial but not essential
