Job summary

Disney Entertainment & ESPN Product & Technology is seeking a DSS QE Operator to troubleshoot live and VOD playback across web, mobile and connected devices. You will work closely with Media Operations to ensure quality control and timely issue resolution for streaming experiences.

The role requires availability for nights, weekends, and holidays, with up to 40 hours per week. Strong communication, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of streaming concepts are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Willing to work up to 40 hours per week (OT possible).
• Strong understanding of computer programs and applications.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot live and VOD playback and data issues across web, mobile, and connected devices.
• Provide 24/7 operational support for live events and diagnose cross‑platform issues.
• Escalate issues to development teams and track progress daily.
• Serve as QE device lab quarterback and POC when leads unavailable.
• Generate EOD reports and liaison with Media Ops teams.
• Assist leads with developing technical client documentation.
