Job summary

S&T is seeking a Photovoltaic Array Engineer to join the Leiden design team. You will design solar arrays for space, study performance under space conditions, and assess radiation impacts while coordinating with stakeholders.

The role requires a solid background in electrical engineering or related fields, 2+ years in PV tech for space, and strong analytical skills. You will be hands-on with cell layouts, wiring, insulation, and testing in a high-tech environment.

Qualifications

• Educational background in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in photovoltaic technology, with a focus on space applications.
• In-depth understanding of solar cell technology, including the physics of diodes, cell strings, and panel architecture.
• Experience with radiation analysis and its impact on solar cell performance.
• Knowledge of materials.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct detailed performance and degradation analyses.
