AXA XL is seeking an Underwriter Property for the Benelux region, based in Amsterdam with hybrid work. You will underwrite domestic property risk, build broker/client relationships, and support cross-selling opportunities.

You will work autonomously under the Team Lead Middle Market Property Benelux, applying your property insurance knowledge to deliver tailored solutions for Dutch clients and brokers, while developing expertise across products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance/business, law, insurance, engineering or related fields.
• Moderate experience in Property Insurance.
• Strong business development and negotiation skills.
• Fluent in English and Dutch.

Responsabilités

• Underwrite domestic property portfolio and meet targets.
• Build and maintain broker/client relationships.
• Negotiate with brokers to achieve profit objectives.
• Cross-sell AXA XL products and assist in risk management.
• Support business planning and monitor exposures.
• Stay informed on claims and assist settlements.
• Develop risk designs and CATNAT analyses.
• Collaborate with other product lines in Benelux.
