Job summary

Greenteamseurope is seeking an experienced Project Manager PV to own projects from kick-off to handover. You will plan, organise, and steer the build team and subcontractors, maintaining scope, budget and schedule while serving as the main client contact.

You will lead planning, execution, and handover, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery. Fluency in Dutch and English is required; a B driving licence is preferred.

Qualifications

• HBO level or equivalent with suitable experience.
• Several years' experience in managing technical installation projects, preferably solar PV.
• Strong grasp of scope, budget, planning and variations.
• Experience leading build teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Clear communicator toward client and team.
• Safety-conscious with focus on quality; VCA VOL is a plus.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; driving licence B.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organise project activities from preparation to handover.
• Monitor budget, hours, and schedule; update plans and execution plans.
• Steer the build team and subcontractors; ensure progress and quality.
• Coordinate client communications: kick-offs, updates, handovers.
• Maintain project administration, variation register and KPI reporting.
• Make operational decisions within project framework and budget.

Deliver our solar projects safely, on budget and on schedule — with clients and partners who want to work with us again.

As Project Manager PV you own your projects from kick-off to handover. You plan and organise the work, steer the build team and the subcontractors, keep scope, budget and schedule under control, and stay the clear point of contact for the client throughout.

Planning & preparation

• Plan and organise project activities, from preparation right through to handover
• Draw up and monitor the project planning, the budget and the hours
• Build execution plans on both a technical and an operational level
• Make sure the handover into execution is correct and complete

Steering the execution

• Run the day-to-day steering of the build team and the subcontractors
• Safeguard progress, quality, safety and communication throughout the project
• Spot problems early and solve them while the work is running
• Keep discipline and structure in the project administration and the variation register

Clients & partners

• Coordinate communication with the client: kick-off, updates and handover
• Steer subcontractors and partners on scope, timing and quality
• Turn changes into variations that are properly agreed and recorded
• Make sure clients and partners stay satisfied — we measure it with NPS

Administration & reporting

• Keep project information up to date in our systems (Monday) every day
• Report on status, deviations and KPIs to the Head of Projects
• Deliver post-calculations and improvement plans for each project
• Keep order and tidiness in the project organisation (store, project boxes, equipment)

What you decide yourself

This is a role with a real mandate. Within the frameworks of the project, the calls are yours to make:

• You organise the project planning and the execution
• You take the day-to-day project decisions within budget and schedule
• You steer the project teams and the subcontractors
• You determine the operational solutions within the project frameworks

What we’re looking for

• HBO working and thinking level (Electrical Engineering, Building or Industrial Engineering, or similar)
• A few years’ experience managing technical installation projects, preferably in solar PV
• A firm grip on scope, budget, planning and variations
• Experience steering build teams, subcontractors and suppliers
• A strong communicator: clear towards the client, direct towards your team
• Safety- and quality-conscious (VCA VOL a plus) and at home in project software
• Fluent in Dutch and English, and a category B driving licence
