About the company

We are looking for an ambitious and experienced Head of Solar Project Management to join a leading and well-established company in the solar energy sector, located in Utrecht. The company has been active for over a decade, specializing in the development, sale, realization, and maintenance of large-scale solar energy systems on rooftops and on the ground across the Netherlands. With ambitious plans for international growth in Benelux, France, Germany, and Scandinavia, the company aims to expand its operations significantly in the coming years.

As a Head of Solar Project Manager, you will oversee a diverse team of project leaders roof (6 FTE), logistics experts (4 FTE), project managers ground (8 FTE), and asset managers (4 FTE). Your role will involve leading the team to new levels of professionalism, managing international projects, and optimizing processes for asset management. You\'ll be responsible for ensuring the achievement of sales and profit targets and serving as a senior point of contact for customers. This position reports directly to the Technical Director and is part of the management team.

Key Responsibilities & Expectations

• Coaching and managing teams, fostering the development of team members
• Professionalizing project and asset management practices
• Optimizing project and asset management processes outside the Benelux
• Ensuring sales and profit targets are met
• Acting as the most senior operational point of contact for customers

About you

• Strong team player with excellent people management skills and an entrepreneurial mindset
• Minimum of a Bachelor\'s degree with a technical background
• Extensive experience in a project-oriented environment, such as renewable energy, oil and gas, or infrastructure
• Proficiency in operations and project management
• Experience with process and change management
• International experience is highly valued
• Fluency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
• VCA-vol certification or willingness to obtain it

Employment Conditions

• Full-time salary between 7,000 and 8,000 gross per month
• Bonus scheme
• Pension contribution (2/3 employer, 1/3 employee)
• Possibility of working from home, with at least two days per week in the Utrecht office
• Working from home allowance of 2.35 per day
• 28 days of leave for full-time employment
• Company-provided laptop, mobile phone, and leased car
