Job summary

U-People seeks an experienced Technical Subcontract Manager Electrical to lead the technical coordination and management of electrical subcontracted work packages across the project lifecycle. You will ensure subcontractors meet technical, quality, planning and cost objectives, acting as the critical link between engineering, suppliers, subcontractors and project management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical discipline.
• Several years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, technical project management, subcontract management or a similar role.
• Experience with electrical installations, system integration and technical work packages.
• Proven experience managing suppliers and subcontractors within multidisciplinary projects.
• Experience within maritime, shipbuilding, offshore or complex industrial sector is highly preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive and decisive approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, interfaces and deadlines.
• Excellent command of both Dutch and English.
• Knowledge of IPMA is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Managing and coordinating multiple electrical subcontractors and suppliers throughout project execution.
• Taking responsibility for the technical integration of electrical work packages.
• Monitoring progress, quality, planning and costs of subcontracted activities.
• Coordinating technical deliverables, interfaces, risks and contractual obligations.

• Participating in technical reviews, inspections and acceptance milestones such as FAT, HAT and SAT.
• Supporting technical and commercial supplier evaluations and assessments.
• Supporting warranty-related activities and resolving technical issues with subcontractors and suppliers.

For an established organization active in the maritime and high-tech engineering industry, we are looking for an experienced Technical Subcontract Manager Electrical to strengthen a multidisciplinary project team.

The company operates in an international project environment where complex technical systems are engineered, integrated and delivered for demanding customers.

About the Role

Are you an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in managing suppliers, subcontractors and electrical work packages? Do you enjoy working at the intersection of engineering, suppliers and project management? Then this could be an interesting opportunity within an international maritime engineering environment.

As Project Manager Electrical, you are responsible for the technical coordination and management of electrical subcontracted work packages throughout the project lifecycle. From procurement and engineering through installation, testing and delivery, you ensure that subcontractors meet the required technical, quality, planning and cost objectives.

You act as the connecting link between engineering teams, suppliers, subcontractors and project management and ensure that electrical systems and work packages are properly coordinated and integrated.

What do we offer?

• A salary of up to €7,000 gross per month, depending on experience and qualifications;
• 27 vacation days + 13 ADV days based on a full-time employment contract;
• Possibility to work from home up to 2 days per week;
