Job summary

Tecwave B.V. is seeking a Maritime Electrical Engineer to design, implement and validate electrical installations on naval vessels.

You will develop power distribution systems, cable routing and component integration within MBSE and V-model frameworks to ensure reliable operation under extreme conditions. The role involves collaborating with suppliers, preparing technical documentation, and supporting commissioning and project execution.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in design of complex electrical systems, preferably maritime, offshore, or aerospace.
  • Background in multidisciplinary engineering with multiple suppliers.
  • Knowledge of MBSE principles and V-model processes.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Familiarity with EMC-compliant design; TEMPEST knowledge is an advantage.
  • Excellent command of English; Dutch or German is a plus.
  • Permanent EU citizenship is required due to confidentiality and security screenings.

Job Description
As an Electrical Engineer, you are responsible for the design, implementation, and validation of electrical installations on naval vessels. You develop power distribution systems, cable routing, and component integration in compliance with strict technical and safety standards. You will work in a model-based systems engineering (MBSE) environment following the V-model methodology. The systems must remain operational even under the most extreme conditions, requiring precision and expertise.
