Job summary

Amazon Customs and Trade is expanding a global footprint for in-house and partner brokerage solutions. We are seeking a Program Manager who can translate a vision into scalable, cross-border programs, working with internal teams, vendors, and customs authorities.

Qualifications

  • Launch and scale in-house and third-party customs brokerage solutions across new geographies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with brokers to ensure geographic coverage.
  • Drive acquisition of new internal and external customers for ACT brokerage services.
  • Plan, resource, execute, and deliver programs end-to-end within defined deadlines.
  • Monitor lifecycle progress: set goals, identify risks, and report to stakeholders.

The Amazon Customs and Trade Program and Product team is expanding footprint, services, and solutions to support our expanding client base. Join the dynamic team as a Program Manager and put your customs brokerage, international trade and/or trade consulting experience to work creating a global customs brokerage offering for international traders.

The ideal candidate will be a builder able to deliver on the vision of a growing footprint of ACT brokerage offerings globally, notably in Europe and Asia. The ideal candidate will have direct experience opening branded customs brokerage locations and establishing relationships with partner teams, vendors and custom authorities. Success requires strong business judgement, market awareness, and a track record of developing and implementing new ideas while having fun.

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Launch and scale in-house and third-party customs brokerage solutions across new geographies, including strategy development, partner selection, and go-to-market planning
  • Build and maintain relationships with 1P and 3P brokers to ensure geographic coverage and capabilities that meet the growing customer base
  • Drive acquisition of new internal and external customers for ACT brokerage services
  • Plan, resource, execute, and deliver programs end-to-end within defined deadlines — coordinating cross-functional teams, internal stakeholders, and external contractors
  • Monitor program and product development throughout the lifecycle: define goals and success measures, identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and communicate status to key stakeholders

About the team

Amazon Customs and Trade is a highly productive team of program and product managers collaborating to deliver customs brokerage and trade solutions for our internal and external customers. We are building Amazon Customs and Trade into a global offering handling cross-border movements of cargo. Our mission is to transform global trade and increase the speed of frictionless cross-border solutions by providing strategic, transparent, and predictable customs and trade services and technologies. Simply put, we are making it easy for our customers to meet the regulatory requirements associated with the international movement of goods while bringing them value.

Basic Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
  • Experience in program or project management
  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
  • Experience in defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
  • Experience leading process improvementsExperience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
