Job ID: 10503189 | Amazon EU SARL (Netherlands Branch)
The position can be based in Amsterdam, Stockholm, Warsaw, or Brussels office.
The position is a fixed-term contract of one year.
Are you passionate about enhancing customer experience through improving Amazon's EU Emerging Stores supply chain operations? Join the EU Emerging (EU EM) Stores team and help shape how we deliver for customers in some of Europe's fastest-growing market segments — including the Netherlands, Sweden, Poland, and Belgium.
As a Product Manager in Retail Supply Chain, you will build an in-depth understanding of Amazon's inventory placement, local fulfillment operations, and delivery speed optimization across emerging European markets. You will partner with central supply chain, operations, and technology teams to improve product availability and reduce cost-to-serve for millions of customers. This is a unique opportunity to work on complex problems at the intersection of retail, product and operations functions in a high-impact, high-autonomy role.
The goal is to step-change product availability and delivery speed for our customers while reducing cost-to-serve.
As you arrive at one of our corporate offices in Amsterdam, Stockholm, Warsaw, or Brussels and grab a first cup of coffee with your colleagues, you begin to look forward to your day. Approximately 60% of your time will be spent diving deep into supply chain data — analyzing inventory placement effectiveness, local sourcing metrics, and delivery speed performance — and translating those insights into concrete improvement initiatives. Another 30% of your time will be dedicated to cross-functional collaboration: aligning with central placement teams, operations partners, and technology teams to drive your initiatives forward. The remaining 10% of your time will be devoted to personal development, engaging in discussions, and working directly with your manager.
You will own end-to-end delivery of projects, from identifying opportunities through data analysis, to building the business case, to collaborating with partner teams on execution, to measuring results. You will present your findings and recommendations in well-written documents and participate in weekly business reviews for your country markets.
We are the EU Emerging Stores Retail Supply Chain team — a small, high-impact group responsible for Retail supply chain strategy and execution across Amazon's newer European countries (Netherlands, Sweden, Poland, Belgium). Our mission is to bring the same world-class delivery experience to emerging markets, while building innovative and cost-effective supply chain solutions tailored to each country's unique characteristics.
As a team, we value deep analytical thinking, strong written communication, and a bias for action. We operate with high autonomy and partner extensively with central EU Supply Chain, SCOT, Operations, and Technology teams to deliver results for our customers. This is a team where you will have real ownership and visibility — your work directly impacts millions of customers across multiple countries.
