Alukwa B.V. in the Netherlands is seeking a skilled Production Technician to manufacture aluminium doors and windbreak panels from detailed drawings. Each door is unique and tailored to client specifications, in a modern workshop in Lisse.

The ideal candidate has an MBO level 3 qualification, experience with aluminium and stainless steel, and a background in metalworking or woodworking machinery. A category B driving licence is required; prior superyacht experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Completed technical vocational qualification (MBO level 3 or equivalent).
• Knowledge of metalworking and woodworking machinery.
• Experience with aluminium and stainless steel.
• Experience as a carpenter, cabinetmaker or interior builder.
• Valid category B driving licence.
• Experience in the superyacht industry is an advantage.

Alukwa is a global leader in the design and production of automated doors for superyachts. Today, Alukwa’s automated doors can be found on more than 300 yachts worldwide.

We design and manufacture aluminium doors for luxury yachts with the utmost precision. At Alukwa, you still have the opportunity to create a truly exceptional product. We do this in our modern, well-equipped workshop in Lisse. We install our products on board new-build projects at shipyards in the Netherlands and across Europe. In addition, we provide service for superyachts worldwide.

Your role:

Manufacturing aluminium doors and windbreak panels based on technical drawings

Every door is unique and fully customised to meet the client’s requirements

Your experience:

• A completed technical vocational qualification (MBO level 3 or equivalent)

Knowledge of and experience with metalworking and woodworking machinery

Experience working with metals such as aluminium and stainless steel

Experience as a carpenter, cabinetmaker or interior builder would be a good fit for this role

Good is often not good enough for you – you always strive for that extra touch

A valid category B driving licence

Experience in the superyacht industry is an advantage
