Job summary

Alukwa is seeking a production supervisor to lead a small team on the production floor in Lisse, the Netherlands. You will create and monitor the production schedule, ensure quality, and act as the point of contact for your team to maintain clear communication and a positive work atmosphere.

You will oversee scheduling, quality control, and progress, coordinate with other departments to meet deadlines, and contribute to process improvements in a growing international market.

Qualifications

• Proven supervisory experience in production environment.
• Experience in metalworking, shipbuilding, or yacht building preferred.
• Dutch language proficiency required.

Alukwa is a global leader in the design and production of automated doors for superyachts. Today, Alukwa's automated doors can be found on more than 300 yachts worldwide.

We design and manufacture aluminium doors for luxury yachts with the utmost precision. At Alukwa, you still have the opportunity to create a truly exceptional product. We do this in our modern, well-equipped workshop in Lisse. We install our products on board new-build projects at shipyards in the Netherlands and across Europe. In addition, we provide service for superyachts worldwide.

Your role:

• You provide daily leadership to a team of 7-8 employees on the production floor
• You create and monitor the production schedule, making adjustments as necessary
• You serve as the point of contact for your team, fostering a positive work atmosphere and ensuring clear communication
• You oversee the quality of the final product and intervene in the event of deviations
• You identify opportunities for process improvement and actively contribute to further development
• You coordinate with other departments to meet deadlines

Who are we looking for?

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a production environment, preferably in metalworking, shipbuilding, or yacht building

• Technical insight and an understanding of planning and quality control
• Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate and structure a team
• Ability to handle stress and maintain an overview when under pressure

Proficiency in Dutch (required)

• A gross monthly salary between €5,000 and €7,000 depending on knowledge and experience
