Job summary
Alukwa B.V. is seeking a Field Service Technician / Service Engineer to install, connect, and commission automated aluminium doors on luxury superyachts. You will work at shipyards in the Netherlands and across Europe, with worldwide service support.
The role requires a technical qualification, knowledge of drive and control systems, experience with aluminium and stainless steel, a valid B driving licence, and willingness to travel including overnight stays. Prior superyacht exposure is a plus.

Field Service Technician / Service Engineer in the Superyacht Industry
Alukwa is a global leader in the design and production of automated doors for superyachts. Today, Alukwa’s automated doors can be found on more than 300 yachts worldwide.
We design and manufacture aluminium doors for luxury yachts with the utmost precision. At Alukwa, you still have the opportunity to create a truly exceptional product. We do this in our modern, well-equipped workshop in Lisse. We install our products on board new-build projects at shipyards in the Netherlands and across Europe. In addition, we provide service for superyachts worldwide.
Installing new automated aluminium doors, including drives, door panels and control systems, at shipyards
Connecting the control systems
Commissioning the doors
Providing service and maintenance worldwide, with a particular focus on the Mediterranean and the Caribbean
A completed technical vocational qualification (MBO level 3 or equivalent)
Knowledge of and experience with drive and control systems
Experience working with metals such as aluminium and stainless steel
Good is often not good enough for you – you always strive for that extra touch
A valid category B driving licence
Experience in the superyacht industry is an advantage
