We are searching for the best talent to join us as a Production Operator in Nijmegen, Netherlands.
Purpose: You will perform all functions required for different manufacturing areas in accordance with established procedures, Good Manufacturing and Documentation Practices, Quality Standards, Safety Rules, and the Employee Code of Conduct. You will operate manufacturing machinery, make adjustments, and execute product changes as necessary. You will also complete a period of training, qualification, and apprenticeship while supporting the manufacturing team in a safe, compliant, and efficient manner, reporting to the Team Lead Production.
Responsibilities
- Operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Following SOPs, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and safety protocols at all times while maintaining cleanliness of the work area to prevent contamination or mix-ups.
- Preparing and verifying batch components and preparing machinery, including performing format changeovers for production runs.
- Manufacturing products in accordance with established procedures, GMP, documentation practices, and quality standards.
- Conducting product inspections and in‑process checks to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Preparing, documenting, and accurately completing production records, including batch reconciliation and supporting material transfers.
- Following PPE and corporate security requirements, reporting risks, and ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental guidelines and company regulations.
- Supporting team members in manufacturing processes, fostering cooperation, and supporting finished goods projects and assigned tasks.
- Escalating process deviations, batch mix‑ups, critical defects, or other issues impacting safety, production, or product quality, while ensuring compliance with the Employee Code of Conduct and communicating improvement opportunities.
Qualifications / Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Industry experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
- Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and production standards, Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS), quality, and compliance standards.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment operation.
- Strong attention to detail and quality; preferably experience with LEAN tools and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- An ability to follow instructions combined with effective communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Commitment to safety and cleanliness standards.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Willingness to work shifts will be required – the role requires openness to work morning and afternoon shifts starting at 6:30 and afternoon/late shifts ending at midnight.
The position is offered on the basis of a 1‑year fixed‑term contract with possibility of extension depending on performance.
