Job summary

ChainCraft is seeking a Finance professional to join as a pivotal member of a growing finance team. You will report to the Finance Manager and collaborate with the CFO and project controllers, taking over from the interim controller and helping shape finance in a scaling environment.

You’ll manage subsidies, close books reliably, contribute to ESG reporting, and participate in a future ERP rollout. The role blends hands-on accounting with process improvement in a production setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business Economics, Accountancy or related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant work experience in financial control or similar role.
• Strong Excel skills and interest in systems, data and automation.
• Fluent reading/writing in Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Subsidy management: monitor ongoing subsidy projects, track time registration and expenses against budgets.
• Closing and reporting: monthly, quarterly and annual closings; support external accountants and future ESG/Impact reporting.
• ERP implementation: contribute to finance processes in the new ERP system to go live by end of 2027.
• Becoming audit ready: strengthen processes and controls for accurate, well-documented reporting.
• Process improvement: automate recurring tasks and develop new workflows.
