Job summary

Strativ Group is seeking a Revenue & Project Controller to manage the financial journey of complex aerospace and advanced manufacturing projects. You will oversee the end-to-end order-to-cash process, review contracts for IFRS 15 treatment, and ensure accurate revenue recognition and cost control across multiple teams.

The role requires five years in project accounting or related fields, strong IFRS 15 knowledge, and experience with milestone-based contracts.

Revenue & Project Controller | Aerospace & Advanced Manufacturing

We are supporting a fast-growing aerospace and advanced manufacturing organisation in the search for an experienced Revenue & Project Controller.

This is a high-ownership position sitting at the intersection of Finance, commercial contracts and programme delivery. You will manage the financial journey of complex projects—from contract review and project initiation through delivery, customer acceptance, invoicing and IFRS 15 revenue recognition.

This is not a transactional accounting role. You will apply technical accounting judgement, strengthen financial controls and partner with teams across Sales, Legal, Programme Management, Production, Planning and Accounting.

What you’ll be doing:

• Own the end-to-end order-to-cash process
• Review commercial contracts and determine the appropriate IFRS 15 treatment
• Assess performance obligations, milestones, customer acceptance clauses and variable consideration
• Manage revenue recognition, contract assets and liabilities, WIP, accruals and financial cut-off
• Track project costs, budgets, cost-to-complete, margins and financial variances
• Connect operational progress and project milestones with revenue, billing and cash flow
• Prepare clear project financial reporting and highlight risks relating to cost, margin, delays or acceptance
• Support internal and statutory audits
• Improve project-control, revenue-recognition and order-to-cash processes as the business scales

What we’re looking for:

• At least five years’ experience in financial accounting, project controlling, revenue controlling or project accounting
• Strong practical knowledge of IFRS, particularly IFRS 15
• Experience with complex, long-term or milestone-based contracts
• Strong project-cost tracking, forecasting, margin and variance-analysis skills
• Experience within aerospace, defence, manufacturing, engineering or another project-based environment is highly desirable
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with an ERP such as Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle or NetSuite
• Ability to explain complex accounting matters clearly to non-finance stakeholders
• A structured, commercially aware and confident approach

A professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CA or an equivalent would be beneficial but is not essential.
