Job summary
MANUS is seeking a Production Engineer to serve as the technical link between R&D and the production floor. You will own resolving technical issues at their source and drive sustainable improvements in processes and documentation.
In this role, you will translate R&D designs into manufacturable production processes, maintain clear work instructions, and support teams with technical expertise. The position offers a structured but informal environment at MANUS.
Qualifications
- Technical background in electronics or mechatronics manufacturing.
- Experience in production process optimization and troubleshooting.
- Ability to write and maintain technical production documentation.
Responsibilities
- Acting as the technical bridge between R&D and production
- Analysing and resolving technical product issues directly on the production floor
- Identifying root causes of production problems and implementing sustainable solutions
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and reliability
- Developing and maintaining clear technical documentation, work instructions, and standards
- Translating R&D designs into robust and manufacturable production processes
- Supporting production teams with technical expertise and training where needed
- Preventing recurring issues by standardising solutions and embedding learnings into processes
- Collaborating closely with R&D to optimise product design for manufacturability (DFM)
- Monitoring production performance and proactively identifying areas for optimisation
