Job summary

At NTS Eindhoven, a Production Engineer is responsible for a reliable and stable production process, delivering high-quality products within customer specs and continuously improving efficiency, stability, and quality on the floor.

You will collaborate closely with NPI and production engineers, project leaders, manufacturing, quality, and supplier quality engineers, under the manager manufacturing engineering, translating issues into workable solutions and coordinating changes with customers and

Qualifications

• HBO level in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, industrial automation, or similar technical field.
• Experience in production or engineering, preferably within high-tech or precision engineering.
• Proficiency in Lean, 8D, and root cause analysis; Green Belt a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line production support on the work floor to ensure progress.
• Propose and implement improvements to increase efficiency, stability, and quality.
• Develop and optimize tooling, e.g., 3D-printed solutions.
• Manage and implement changes through the Change Control Board (CCB).
• Analyze and solve problems with 8D and root cause analysis and implement mitigations.
